1. Introduction
Felix Mood ("Felix Mood," "we," "us," or "our") is a wellness and journaling app developed by Inoveb LTD. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use Felix Mood on iOS and Android.
The short version: Felix Mood is designed to keep your journal private. The moods, tags, goals, reflections, and settings you create are stored on your device. We do not operate a backend service that receives or stores your journal content, and we do not collect any data from you.
2. Information stored in the app
Because Felix Mood works offline-first, the following information is saved locally on your device:
- Journal entries — mood check-ins, energy levels, tags, quick notes, and reflections
- Goals — one-time and recurring goals, including names, descriptions, schedules, and completion status
- Profiles — profile names and tracking interests you choose (such as sleep, energy, or social activities)
- App preferences — notification settings, optional app lock, voice input preferences, and onboarding choices
- Premium status — whether Premium features are unlocked, including trial usage on your device
We do not ask for or receive account information such as your legal name, email address, phone number, or login credentials — and Felix Mood does not require an account. If you choose a profile name, it is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to us.
This locally stored information is not transmitted to us unless you choose to export or share it yourself.
We do not collect any data from you. This includes analytics, usage data, crash reports tied to your identity, advertising identifiers, and location data.
3. How your information is used
Information stored in Felix Mood is used only to provide app functionality on your device, including:
- Displaying your journal, calendar, timeline, and insights
- Tracking goals and syncing them with journal days
- Applying free and Premium feature limits (such as history windows)
- Scheduling local reminders, if you opt in
- Protecting the app with biometric or device passcode lock, if you enable it
Your journal content is not transmitted to us for storage, analysis, or marketing.
4. Storage & security
Local storage
Felix Mood stores data using your device's local storage (AsyncStorage on mobile). Each profile's journal data is kept in separate storage keys on the device.
Encryption
Journal data is not separately encrypted by Felix Mood beyond the protections provided by your device's operating system. If you enable app lock, access to the app can be restricted using Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, or your device passcode.
Backups
Your device or cloud backup service (such as iCloud Backup or Google Backup) may include app data according to your system settings. Those backups are managed by Apple, Google, or your device provider — not by Felix Mood.
5. Optional features
App lock
If you turn on app lock, Felix Mood uses your device's biometric authentication or passcode APIs. Biometric data is processed by your operating system and is never sent to us.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Felix Mood schedules local notifications on your device. Notification permissions are requested through your operating system. We do not send push notifications from a remote server.
Voice input
On supported devices, you may use voice input to add text to notes or reflections. Speech recognition is performed on-device where supported by your platform. Audio is not uploaded to Felix Mood servers.
Microphone permission
The microphone is used only when you actively choose voice input. Felix Mood does not record audio in the background.
6. Export, import & deletion
You remain in control of your data through the Your Data section in Settings:
- Export — you can export your journal as JSON (free) or, with Premium, as CSV or PDF. Exports are created on your device and shared through your system's share sheet.
- Import — you can import a previously exported JSON file. Imports are initiated by you and processed locally.
- Delete — you can delete journal entries, profiles, or reset the entire app. Deleted data is removed from local storage on your device.
When you export or share data, the destination app or service you choose (email, cloud drive, messaging, and so on) will handle that information under its own privacy practices.
7. Third-party services
App Store & Google Play purchases
If you purchase Felix Mood Premium, payment and subscription management are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive only the information needed to validate your purchase and unlock Premium features on your device. We do not receive your payment card details.
Apple's and Google's handling of purchase data is governed by their respective privacy policies.
No advertising partners
Felix Mood does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not sell your personal information.
8. Children's privacy
Felix Mood is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not require an account and stores data locally, parents and guardians can manage use through device-level controls.

9. Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information. Because Felix Mood stores your data on your device and does not maintain a user account system, you can exercise most controls directly in the app:
- View and edit your journal entries, goals, and profiles
- Export your data at any time
- Delete entries, profiles, or all app data
- Disable notifications, app lock, or voice features
- Uninstall the app to remove locally stored data (subject to device backup settings)

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. For material changes, we may also provide notice within the app or through app store update notes.
Your continued use of Felix Mood after an update means you accept the revised policy.
