About Felix Mood

Felix Mood is a calm, private mood journal developed by Inoveb LTD. Track how you feel, set goals, add reflections, and review patterns over time — all stored locally on your device.

Key features include:

  • Daily mood check-ins with energy levels, tags, and notes
  • Goals — one-time and recurring — linked to your journal
  • Calendar, timeline, and insights views
  • Multiple profiles for separate tracking contexts
  • Optional app lock, local reminders, and voice input
  • Export your journal as JSON, CSV, or PDF (Premium)

Privacy first: Felix Mood does not require an account. Your journal entries are stored on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account to use Felix Mood?

No. Felix Mood works entirely on your device without sign-up or login. There is no cloud sync — your data stays where you create it.

Can you recover my journal if I lose my phone?

Because entries are stored locally, we cannot access or restore your data remotely. We strongly recommend exporting your journal periodically from Settings → Your Data → Export. Your device backup (iCloud or Google Backup) may also include app data depending on your system settings.

How do I transfer my journal to a new device?

Export your journal as a JSON file from your old device, then import it on your new device via Settings → Your Data → Import. Both steps are initiated by you and processed locally on each device.

How do I cancel Premium?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, not by Felix Mood directly. To cancel, open your device's subscription settings (App Store or Google Play) and manage your Felix Mood subscription there. You will retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period.

Is Felix Mood a medical or mental health service?

No. Felix Mood is a personal wellness and journaling tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are in crisis or need immediate help, please contact a qualified healthcare provider or local emergency services.

Getting started

New to Felix Mood? Here is a quick overview:

  • Log a mood — tap the main action on the home screen to record how you feel, your energy level, tags, and an optional note or reflection.
  • Set a goal — create one-time or recurring goals from the Goals tab and mark them complete as you go.
  • Review your history — use the Calendar or Timeline views to browse past entries and spot patterns.
  • Customise — visit Settings to enable reminders, app lock, voice input, or manage profiles.

On first launch, Felix Mood walks you through a short onboarding to set up your profile and tracking preferences. You can revisit these choices anytime in Settings.

Premium & subscriptions

Felix Mood offers optional Premium features, which may include:

  • Extended journal history beyond the free window
  • Export to CSV and PDF formats
  • Additional Premium-only features as described in the app

Purchases and renewals are processed by the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). We do not receive your payment card details. To restore a purchase on a new device, use the Restore Purchases option in Settings.

For refund requests, please contact Apple or Google according to their refund policies. We are happy to help troubleshoot purchase or restore issues — email us with your receipt or order ID.

Your data

You control your journal data directly in the app under Settings → Your Data:

  • Export — save your journal as JSON (free) or CSV/PDF (Premium). Exports are created on your device and shared via your system's share sheet.
  • Import — restore a previously exported JSON file. Imports are processed locally.
  • Delete — remove individual entries, profiles, or reset the entire app. Deleted data is removed from local storage on your device.

Uninstalling the app will remove locally stored data from your device, subject to your backup settings. Export regularly if you want a copy outside the app.

Troubleshooting

Notifications are not appearing

Check that Felix Mood has notification permission in your device settings. Then confirm reminders are enabled in Settings → Notifications within the app. Felix Mood uses local notifications only — no internet connection is required.

App lock is not working

Ensure Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, or a device passcode is set up on your phone. Then verify app lock is enabled in Felix Mood Settings. Biometric authentication is handled by your operating system — Felix Mood never receives your biometric data.

Voice input is unavailable

Voice input requires microphone permission and is supported on devices where your platform provides on-device speech recognition. Grant microphone access when prompted, and use voice input only when actively adding text to a note or reflection.

Premium features are not unlocked after purchase

Try Settings → Restore Purchases. Ensure you are signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase. If the issue persists, email us with your receipt or order ID.

The app is running slowly or crashing

Make sure you are running the latest version of Felix Mood from the App Store or Google Play. Restart the app and, if needed, restart your device. If problems continue, email us with your device model, OS version, and a description of what happened.

System requirements

Felix Mood is available on:

  • iOS — compatible iPhone and iPad devices running a supported iOS version as listed on the App Store
  • Android — compatible phones and tablets running a supported Android version as listed on Google Play

An internet connection is not required for day-to-day journaling. A connection may be needed for app updates and in-app purchases.
